For over twenty years, Park Animal Hospital was owned by the Lawendy family. The hospital’s new owners, veterinarians Dr. Damian Battersby and his wife, Dr. Shelley Skopit, of Wilton, CT, are continuing the tradition of family ownership in both the Norwalk and Darien hospitals. Dr. Sherif Lawendy will remain with us, initially in a consulting capacity, to ensure a smooth transition. In addition, two other familiar faces, Dr. Stephanie Adian and the hospital manager, Christine Muskulus, will also continue on as members of the Park Animal Hospital team.
In order to meet the needs of Norwalk clientele, they not only intend to keep the Norwalk hospital open but will be revitalizing the hospital in the near future, including extending its hours, so as to better serve the community and provide excellent veterinary care.
They are generating positive buzz with new services, including acupuncture and therapeutic laser treatments, into the practice. For more information and to watch a video that recently ran on MyFox New York News about these exciting new services, you can click onto their new website and look for it on the “In the News” page. These treatments offer a non-invasive approach to such conditions as arthritis, pinched nerves, herniated discs, and soft tissue injuries, to name a few.
The new owners would love to meet you at either hospital location.
